You are allowed to manage three kinds of lists: Play Lists, File Lists and Data Sources. You can work with these lists with the help of the List Manager dialog.
Example of the Lists Manager dialog for Play Lists
The List Manager dialog allows you to create, delete and modify these lists, which are stored in the internal database of the Editor. It contains the Available Lists tree, which includes three types of supported lists on its first hierarchy level: Play Lists, File Lists and Data Sources. The second level of the tree represents the list names. The right part of the dialog contains list specific information. When no items are selected on the tree, or when some first-level node is selected, the right pane of the dialog remains empty (or contains hint information). There are two buttons under the tree - New and Delete.
When you click New, a new item in the tree will be created under the currently selected first level tree node. If the second level node was selected, the new item will be of the same type, as the currently selected one. The new item will have a unique name generated by the application. This new item will be selected and the right part of dialog will display its properties.
If you click Delete, the following message appears: Do you really want to delete List <list Item name>? accompanied by two buttons - Yes, and No. If you choose Yes, the selected list will be removed. The previous node of the tree will be selected. If this list was used in the text fields of any design, no additional confirmation will be shown, and the corresponding text fields will be printed as empty strings.
If any first level node on the tree is selected, the Delete button is also enabled. If you click it, the following message appears: Do you really want to delete all [Play Lists|File Lists|Data Sources]? accompanied by two buttons - Yes and No. If you choose Yes, all lists under selected node will be removed. The first level node will remain selected.
The right pane is different for each type of the list set. For further information refer to the sections titled The Right pane for the Play Lists, The Right pane for File Lists, and The Right pane for Data Sources.
